Maintenance of steel structure

(a) in the past, anti-corrosion treatment for exposed steel is only spray (brush) two rust paint, it is used to lack of regular maintenance, so the effect is not significant. Floor steel deck use zinc galvanize. the effect is not good. for this specific case, we plan a specific maintenance measures below:

(b) Steel column and steel beam purlin and so on: We use new technology for sandblasting by electric steel brush rust removing, in order to remove all rust scale. And then we use two layers of epoxy zinc rich antirust primer, dry film thickness 70UM, practical is 0.25~0.3kg/ square meters; twice epoxy micaceous iron gray thick slurry primer, the wet film thickness 190um, dry film thickness 100um, paste paint, curing agent weight ratio: 100:15.

(c) Galvanized floor desk: mainly adopts electric steel brush for artificial derusting, to ensure thorough rust. Special for serious corrosion of steel desk, we reinforced with the atomic ash. after level, and dried, we use two layers of epoxy zinc rich antirust primer, dry film thickness 70UM, practical 0.25~0.3kg/ square meters; twice epoxy micaceous iron gray thick slurry primer, wet film thickness 190um, dry film thickness to 100um, paste paint: curing agent weight ratio: 100:15, to do anti-corrosion treatment.

(II) steel fireproof treatment

Steel is poor temperature resistance material, many properties change by the temperature fluctuation. when the temperature reaches 430-540 DEG C, the steel yield point, tensile strength and elastic modulus will decline sharply, lost bearing capacity. Therefore it have to be used for the maintenance of steel structure with refractory. after using fire retardant paint or fire paint treatment, Building fireproof ability is depended on the fire resistance performance of building elements of quality and at the time of the fire its carrying capacity, it should be able to continue for a certain period of time, that can make people safety evacuation, rescue supplies and put out the fire.

Fire prevention measures follows: exposed steel should be brushed fire paint, specific requirements are steel refractory time is 1.5h, the fire-resistant time of steel column is 2.5h, this measures will meet the requirements of building codes.

(III) maintenance after the anti-corrosion treatment, steel structure corrosion resistance is improved obviously, after a year, the steel structure anticorrosion layer is not demaged , no any skin and shedding phenomenon, anti-corrosion effect is better; brush fire retardant paint, steel structure of monolithic refractory time provided high, to ensure the steel structure of the whole security.
